You’ll never be gerrymandered out of our district.

  1. That’s what he says in his “news” column on his site.  That’s one fine way to fullfil campaign promises by being “on leave”.  It’s more like he’s “on leave” from his job.

      1. yeah it is funny now, the defense groups in the springs now have to go lobby Mark Udall. It is kind of justice for the voters who voted for Doug.

  2. I think Wadhams is going to have trouble with Colorado Democrats because they are unpredicable.  Apparently, the new ones think for themselves.

    1. “..the new ones think for themselves.”  Isn’t that a little like saying Mike Merrifield isn’t the cold-sore-ridden lips of the Union of Teachers? You cannot seperate a zebra  from its stripes.

      1. through the primaries and the general election and he is a joke now.  He and Musgrave apparently represent the brightest and the best the Repubs have to offer.

      1. Our leadership has failed us. If they continue to award eqoists with cushy tax-payer funded jobs, who brag over wasteful spending, I’m going to take personal offense to it since their paycheck is from our wallets.

The more important question is why are you not offended by having men like these clogging our representative system? Not a single true republican on this site will take an honest look at the situation. If you did, and were true to sound judgement, Im confident your conclusion would be the same.

We need leadership that does not just spout off rhetoric, while acting in a very different way. Im tired of it. I feel the way Goldwater did just 40 years ago.

And it begs further questioning of who else is in that office doing the same.

      1. Unfortunately, no longer in law school. But the class I am in now does have homework that is due tomorrow, my gf bday is tomorrow, too.

Sadly, I dont know many people so I posted it here as we are a little community.

    1. “We’ve been through some things together
With trunks of memories still to come
We’ve taken rides in stormy weather (lyrics?)
      Long May You Run!
      Neil Young

        1. I really liked your reporting from Michigan…maybe you could be a journalist.
What I wish for you is the chance to do something you love….

    2. Happy Birthday. And remember the words of another man who was born on March 6 (yet never blogged on ColoradoPols):

“The only fool bigger than the person who knows it all is the person who argues with him.”

Stanislaw Jerzy Lec quotes (Polish writer, poet and satirist 1906-1966)

  3. I need to identify the legislative districts that contain various addresses.  On Sunday, I went to leg.state.co.us and there was a link to “District Maps”, and a link from there to a convenient application that let me search by address.  Now it’s disappeared; 404 error.  Anyone know what happened?  Is there another way?

  4. a GWB change in course happening….but don’t expect the MSM accusing him of cutting and running. The best consuultants money can buy are hard at work salvaging this poor man’s legacy. Good luck, and God bless!

    Now go away.
